CGC® and JSA® are honored to be the Official Grading and Authentication Services of New York Comic Con, happening at the Javitz Center in New York City on October 9-12, 2025. Bring your comics, TCGs, sports cards, video games, home video collectibles and autographed memorabilia to submit at the show!

As the event's Official Grading and Authentication Services, CGC and JSA have three booths at NYCC this year! For all CGC x JSA submissions, visit our main booth #3001. For CGC Signature Series, JSA on-site autograph authentication and regular JSA submissions, visit booth #HB906 in Artist Alley. Additionally, JSA on-site autograph authentication submissions will be accepted at booth #HB901.

There’s lots of fun and excitement planned for CGC and JSA during NYCC!

• Fans can look forward to our beloved pin giveaway, including a limited edition NYCC grade box pin, featuring NYCC's rat mascot and an appropriately spooky theme! And NEW this year, a limited edition VeeFriends pin as well as our 25th Anniversary Legacy Logo pin will also be available for any grading submissions. Limited supply available; one per submitter, per show.
• Join our 25th Anniversary Mystery Box egg hunt! (Hint: Be on the lookout for clues to where we have hidden the eggs every morning on our Instagram stories.) Twenty-five total winners per show; each player may only win once per show.
• Grading 101 with CGC Comics (Room 1C03). Join CGC Comics President Matt Nelson and Vice President Shawn Caffrey for an in-depth panel on comic book grading and preservation. The panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how comics get graded at CGC. Plus, watch live grading demos, learn how to spot pressable defects and restoration and get expert insight into what really affects a comic's grade. You'll also get the chance to guess the grade for prizes, test your knowledge with comic book trivia and ask questions during an open Q&A. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just love comics, this panel is packed with helpful tips and insider knowledge you won't want to miss!
• Also, talk to Matt and Shawn during Meet the Grader at CGC booth #3001.
• And that's not all! We will have a full schedule of signings happening at our booths #3001 and #HB906, including: Comic artist Dan Mora, Abominable Toys Creators Benjamin Su and Connor McConnell. Also, Attack on Titan signing opportunities with Japanese voice actors Yoshimasa Hosoya and Shirori Mikami, English voice actors Robert McCollum and Lydia Mackay and the vocalist of the opening theme song "The Rumbling," MAH (SiM), and X-Men Actor Famke Janssen (Jean Grey).

Looking to get collectibles signed?

CGC Signature Series will be at the show with witnesses ready to put eyes on your prize(s)! Be sure to get your books prepped with the CGC Signature Series online submission form to save you a lot of time at the show! Watch this short video to learn how to get this process started:

Preparing submissions for the show

CGC will be accepting submissions of comics, magazines, TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, video games and home video collectibles for grading. Autographed comics and cards may be submitted for CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph certification, and autographed memorabilia may be submitted for JSA-only services.

Why wait in line with your submission? Submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service and quickly hand off your collectibles to a CGC x JSA representative. Simply take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for comics, cards, video games or home video. (For JSA memorabilia submissions, just bring your item to the show.)
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission. Please note that you’ll have the option to choose JSA autograph authentication for comics and cards after choosing your primary grading services.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

 

1. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
2. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
